Welcome
This site serves as an Economics Fundamentals Resource Guide for all Penn State students. For best access, please view it on a computer or iPad.
All economics majors, and most non-economics majors, are required to take at least one 100-level economics course during their time at Penn State. It is vital for students to understand economic foundations, as they apply in both academia and real life.
Information on core topics from Penn State's three 100-level economics courses is provided through this site. Its purpose is to educate and assist students in their learning of economics and related fields.
Simply hover your mouse over the course of interest, and click on the topic you want to learn more about. Each resource includes tips to use it successfully. Some resource tips consider whether or not you are experienced in that branch of economics. Other resource tips do not consider this, which means that those tips are the same for everyone.
To learn about a course, click its name. This leads to the respective course page. You may also access the resources for that course from the respective course page. The Search Bar may be utilized for navigation purposes. View Tips for Success to ensure that you are effectively utilizing the resources provided in this guide.

Hi! I'm Reese, and I'm an economics major at Penn State. I created this guide for both other students and myself. Studying economic fundamentals has helped me significantly in training my mind to think like an economist. I hope that this guide helps you to do that, too.
